BMW of Freeport is proud to be sponsoring the 7th annual Bimmerstock/Gold Coast Concours. The event will be held in downtown Glen Cove, NY on September 20, 2015. Thousands of automotive fans will gather to celebrate some amazing performance vehicles and see them in action up close.
The city of Glen Cove will close the streets in its downtown business district for the day of the event. That means hundreds of exotic cars and BMWs from different eras will be able to take over. Hardcore fans as well as casual enthusiasts should enjoy the wide selection of cars that will be on display.
Finding a Cure for Diabetes
While going to Bimmerstock is a fun time, it also supports a great cause. Proceeds go to the Diabetes Research Institute, which is a tremendous cause to get behind. For the 2014 event, a total of $75,000 was raised. During the whole existence of Bimmerstock/Gold Coast Concours over $338,000 has been raised for diabetes research.
As the name indicates, the sole focus of the Diabetes Research Institute is finding a cure for diabetes. Too many people suffer from this horrible medical condition, including quite a few children.
